Welcome

Welcome to nothingbutspin. In this blog, we intend to keep you up to date on everything from worldly happenings to the world of sports. Between the two of us (Dave and Andy), we've got pretty much everything covered so we might as well get started.

There have been two things of note today so far. The first and, I suppose, most important is that there is a verdict expected in the Larry O'Brien trial today. If you're interested, you can follow it at http://twitter.com/obrientrial where the Ottawa Citizen is doing a blow-by-blow description of the proceedings.

More interesting, to me, is that Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun has said that a "league source" has informed him that Dany Heatley will be traded to the San Jose Sharks in the next two days. Now we all know that there have been plenty of garbage rumours floating around with this issue and I don't actually believe that Brennan has league sources that TSN staff doesn't have, but it sure would be nice to see this thing come to a close.

Anyway, welcome to the blog and I hope to see you again soon.
